We’ve launched Fare Free Sundays, providing SmartRider holders with free travel every Sunday across Perth.

This initiative encourages public transport usage on the weekends for local tourism and recreation, in turn supporting our hospitality and entertainment industries.

Primary and secondary school students with a valid Student SmartRider card can travel for free on Transport services from Monday to Friday during the school year.

Seniors can use their Seniors Card to also access free and concession travel - check out the website www.seniorscard.wa.gov.au  or pick up a Seniors Card Discount Directory

As from 1 January 2026, passengers will pay no more than $2.80 to get anywhere on the network when using SmartRider's autoload function.
